One-Eyed Monsters is a serial 2D adventure game being developed for the in GameMaker. It will be released for Mac and PC, and hopefully ported somehow to Linux (if you are a representative of Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo, we will consider expanding this list). It’s themes include cooperation, the transition to adulthood, collectivism and anarchy, friendship, sexual identity, ecology, pacifism, and (of course) 20-foot aliens*.

The team, as of October 2010, consists solely of Ian Danskin, with some art contributions from Loren Schmidt.

I (Ian) will be updating the blog on weekends (or sporadically, or more frequently) with reports on development. It’s also a departure point to talk about indie games, bits of theory, and sharing links to whatever’s insightful, to be posted whenever they flow through my brainpipe.

*(aliens may actually be closer to 30 feet)
